AGI Greenpac's Consolidated Profit Rises in Fiscal Q4; Shares Jump 15%

AGI Greenpac (NSE:AGI, BOM:500187) said its consolidated net profit increased to 1.15 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 966.1 million rupees a year ago, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

Shares of the company jumped 15% in Tuesday's trade.

Earnings per share for the quarter ended March 31 climbed to 17.83 rupees from 14.93 rupees a year earlier.

Revenue from operations of the glass container maker climbed year on year to 7.42 billion rupees from 7.05 billion rupees.

The board of Agi Greenpac declared a final dividend of 7 rupees per share for the fiscal year ended March 31. The dividend will be paid on or before Sept. 29.
