Spirit’s lawyer told a New York bankruptcy court Thursday that talks were at an advanced stage.\nSchiff is not the only conservative voice unhappy with the plan. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) called the bailout “an absolutely TERRIBLE idea” and compared it to the 2008 TARP rescues. \nSen.
