China Shenhua Energy's Profit Falls 11% in Q1; Revenue Up 1%

China Shenhua Energy's (SHA:601088, HKG:1088) attributable net profit fell 11% in the first quarter of 2026 to 11.9 billion yuan from 13.4 billion yuan a year earlier, according to filings on the Shanghai and Hong Kong bourses over the weekend.

Earnings per share edged down to 0.591 yuan from 0.673 yuan.

Revenue climbed 1.2% to 70.4 billion yuan from 69.6 billion yuan a year prior, which the coal mining company attributed to higher revenue from power sales.
