Microsoft Gets Planning Approval for Hyperscale Data Centre in Leeds, Harworth Group Says

Microsoft's (MSFT) has received planning consent for a hyperscale data centre campus in Leeds, Harworth Group said Monday.

The proposal includes about 500,000 square feet of data centre space and roughly 160,000 square feet of industrial and logistics space, Harworth Group said.

Harworth Group said it will receive 53.2 million British pounds ($72.1 million) upon completion of the sale to Microsoft.
