Airbnb could still strike a cautious note with its earnings report next week despite demand for short-term rentals appearing resilient, Deutsche Bank analysts say. The analysts say their checks show modestly lower mobile app daily active users compared with the fourth quarter, but card data shows sales per transaction has offset the decline in transactions. While industry checks are encouraging, the analysts say they wouldn't be surprised if Airbnb's second-quarter guidance offers a more cautious outlook to account for the Iran war potentially weighing on demand.
