Canadian Pacific Kansas City has reached tentative collective bargaining agreements with the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Works - Transportation Division and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen.

The railway company said Friday that each of the agreements has a term from 2025 to 2034 and covers approximately 1,700 train and engine service employees across 11 states.

The new agreements consolidate 11 existing contracts across the company's U.S. network into two new long-term hourly agreements, the company said.

The ratification of these agreements would conclude negotiations for about 81% of the company's U.S. train and engine service employees, the company said.
