Companies' Gen AI Adoption Could Benefit Singapore Office Landlords -- Market Talk

Dow Jones04-27 11:21

0321 GMT - Generative artificial-intelligence adoption by companies are driving tenants to higher quality office buildings, which could benefit certain Singapore property companies and real-estate investment trusts, say DBS Group Research analysts in a note. Efficiency gains from Gen AI adoption are pushing companies to prioritize spaces that support collaboration and talent retention, the analysts say. This points to more tenants looking for Grade A office buildings in prime locations with better digital infrastructure and amenities, and sustainability credentials, they add. They expect Singapore's Marina Bay precinct to capture most of the demand. Property stocks with exposure to this precinct include Keppel REIT and Hongkong Land, the bank says.
