Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) said the prefeasibility study for the Minyari copper-gold project in Western Australia is on track for completion in the September quarter, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The study's metallurgical testwork confirmed that the gold is free-milling and readily leachable through conventional carbon-in-leach processing, with gold recoveries ranging from 89% to 98%, and optimal grind sizes of around 75 micrometers to 106 micrometers.

Its shares fell 1% in recent trading on Tuesday.
