Leidos has received a $456 million contract from the General Services Administration to manage well-being services for Defense Department service members and family members.

The company, which is a major government contractor, said on Wednesday that it will manage the Military OneSource program for four years, helping to offer confidential counseling, tax services, spouse employment support and other programs to 4.7 million service members and their families.

Leidos provides medical exams and non-medical counseling to Defense Department employees.

"As a military spouse, I know how important it is to have straightforward access to these services," said Liz Porter, president of Leidos Health. "Leidos has been supporting active-duty and retired military personnel, and their families, for many years now. Strengthening the health and readiness of those in uniform is a responsibility we feel deeply across our company."
