W.W. Grainger Raises Quarterly Dividend by 10%

W.W. Grainger's board has raised the company's quarterly dividend by 10%, to $2.49 from $2.26.

The new payout, equal to $9.96 a year, represents an annual yield of about 0.87% based on Wednesday's trading price of $1,143, up from 0.79%.

The Lake Forest, Ill., distributor of maintenance, repair and operating products and services said the increased dividend is payable June 1 to shareholders of record May 11.
