Berkshire Hathaway's (BRK.A, BRK.B) Duracell will face a lawsuit over accusations that it has stolen trade secrets related to the lithium-ion battery technology of Germany BASF, a judge ruled Tuesday, according to Reuters.
The judge rejected Duracell's bid to dismiss the lawsuit, the report said.
BASF said Duracell hurt the company materially by using a collaboration agreement to pilfer trade secrets, the report said.
Berkshire Hathaway did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
