Yankuang Energy (HKG:1171, SHA:600188) recorded a 42% rise in attributable profit in the first quarter of 2026 to 3.95 billion yuan from 2.78 billion yuan after adjustment a year prior, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The energy company's earnings per share rose to 0.396 yuan from 0.276 yuan in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Operating income jumped 1.8% to 34.6 billion yuan from 34 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
