0821 GMT - Airbus's aircraft production plans are on track despite a shortage of Pratt & Whitney engines, Jefferies analysts write in a note to clients. The European plane maker continues to target production of 13 A220 narrow-body aircraft a month in 2028, between 70 and 75 A320s a month by the end of next year, five A330s a month in 2029 and 12 a month of its larger A350s in 2028. Chief Executive Guillaume Faury said in an earnings call that discussions with Pratt & Whitney regarding engine deliveries were continuing. "While a finalized agreement with Pratt is still being negotiated, delivery numbers were set for 2026 and supportive of the current delivery guide," the analysts say. Airbus is aiming for roughly 870 deliveries this year. Airbus shares trade 2.2% higher at 169.68 euros. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
