MT Newswires Live04-29

Lightspeed Commerce (LSPD) agreed to sell its non-core Upserve US hospitality product line to Skyview Equity for

up to $81 million, Lightspeed said Wednesday

The sale, which is structured as a cash payment of up to $44 million, plus up to $37 million in earnout payments, is in line with Lightspeed's strategy to streamline its portfolio and focus on retail in North America and hospitality in Europe, the company said.

Lightspeed expects the divestiture to impact the three-year financial outlook it announced in 2025, and said its Q4 and 2026 revenue are set to exceed its previously issued guidance. In February, the company said it expects Q4 revenue of approximately $280 million to $284 million and 2026 revenue of about $1.22 billion.
