LPL Financial reported adjusted first-quarter earnings per share of $5.60, beating Wall Street forecasts of $5.48, according to FactSet. Revenue came in at $4.9 billion for the quarter compared with analyst expectations of $4.5 billion.
Adjusted first-quarter EPS and revenue were up 9% and 35%, respectively, compared to the same period a year ago. The wealth management company benefited from strong growth in advisory fee revenue. Total client assets jumped 30% year over year to $2.3 trillion.
