0103 GMT - SK Telecom is set to gain from its artificial-intelligence data-center initiative, Daiwa Capital's Thomas Y. Kwon and Joon Lee say. The analysts point to the South Korean mobile network operator's 89% on-year jump in AI data center revenue in 1Q, with the company expecting the strong momentum to continue through 2028, driven by facility expansions and higher utilization. They remain cautious about a full-scale recovery in its core mobile-network business due to saturation in South Korea's 5G services market. Daiwa downgrades its rating on the stock to underperform from hold but raises its target price by 44% to 79,500 won. Shares are 0.6% higher at 93,700 won. (kwanwoo.jun@wsj.com)
