Dow Jones05-06 21:22
0921 ET - U.S. natural gas futures are lower as oil prices fall on a report the U.S. and Iran are close to a deal to end the conflict in the Middle East. "This market appears to be seeing spillover from the huge decline in oil pricing and with the weather factor offering little support," Ritterbusch & Associates says in a note. The firm still sees upside for natural gas exceeding the downside as weather heats up over the next 1-2 months, lifting cooling demand. Nymex natural gas is down 1.3% at $2.752/mmBtu.(anthony.harrup@wsj.com)
