AutoCanada has appointed Mike Woodward as its new chief financial officer, effective in early July.
Woodward brings to the automobile dealership and collision-repair group a background in corporate development, financial strategy and performance improvement, the company said Thursday.
Most recently, he was CFO of the Canada Enterprise Emergency Funding Corporation, a federal crown corporation created to administer emergency financing for large Canadian employers during the pandemic.
Before that, he served as CFO of Lynx Air and Campus Energy, and held senior roles in investment banking at Bank of Montreal and CIBC World Markets.
Woodward succeeds Samuel Cochrane as CFO effective July 6. Cochrane in mid-February was appointed chief executive officer after taking on the role on an interim basis in October.
