Shares of Freshpet rose after the company raised its full-year net sales guidance.
The stock gained 5.9% to $63.70 in premarket trading. Through Tuesday's close, it was down 26% over the past 12 months.
The company now sees 2026 net sales growth of 8% to 11%, up from its previous forecast of 7% to 10%.
For the first quarter, net sales rose 13% to $297.6 million and the company swung to a profit of $48.5 million from a loss of $12.7 million the year before.
Analysts polled by FactSet had expected sales of $291.9 million.
