Shares of Absci were lower after the company's losses widened and its revenue fell in its latest quarter.
Shares of the artificial intelligence-driven drug creation company were down 3% on Friday at $5.59. The company's shares are up 58% year to date.
The company on Thursday posted a first-quarter loss of $29.6 million, or 19 cents a share, compared with a loss of $26.3 million, or 21 cents a share, a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected a loss of 20 cents a share.
Revenue fell to $215,000 from $1.2 million a year earlier. Analysts had expected $1.4 million.
The company's research and development expenses rose to $19.3 million from $16.4 million in the year-earlier quarter.
