Rio Tinto (RIO) has awarded Sodexo a new contract to provide facilities management for its fly-in fly out housing and operational sites in Western Australia's Pilbara region, the companies said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The seven-year contract, launching in June, includes an option to extend for an additional three years, the companies said.
Services include accommodation, food, retail vending, health and wellness programs, cleaning, transport, refurbishment, and maintenance for 2,900 houses and 19,00 accommodation rooms in 25 villages, the companies said.
