Shopify's AI, International Strength Keep 2026 Targets Intact, Says Deutsche Bank -- Market Talk

Dow Jones00:55

1254 ET - While many bullish Shopify investors were disappointed in its 2Q outlook, Deutsche Bank says the company is on the right track to meet 2026 targets. In a note, the analysts point to Shopify's strong 1Q results which bolster positive views on the company's near- and long-term trajectory, as they "come away feeling better about achieving low 30's revenue growth and high 20's gross profit growth for full year 2026," they say. The analysts also mention strength in Europe, and continued momentum with merchant additions thanks to product leadership that's accelerating given the benefits from the AI-powered commerce assistant Sidekick. The analysts also say that enterprises are rethinking their architecture "due to the paradigm shift with Agentic commerce." (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
