Fed Fund Futures Show Rates Staying on Hold -- Market Talk

0906 ET - Fed funds futures still show investors expect the Fed to hold interest rates steady well into next year, according to CME FedWatch. After the stronger-than-expected jobs report, the odds of rates remaining unchanged through December fell slightly to 71.8% from 73.1% shortly before the release. Expectations in the other direction for either a rate hike or cut edged higher. (jessica.coacci@wsj.com)
