1410 GMT - Rising uncertainty around U.K. politics is causing investors to price in a risk premium on U.K. government bonds, eToro's Lale Akoner says in a note. "Gilt yields are rising because markets are starting to price in a more fragile U.K. outlook than headline data suggests," she says. Investors are reassessing how much risk they can take given political uncertainty, inflation concerns from high energy prices, and growing pressure on public finances, Akoner says. U.K. 30-year gilt yields hit a 28-year high of 5.787%, LSEG data show. Ten-year gilt yields are up 12 basis points to last trade at 5.078%, Tradeweb data show. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
