Broad-Based Stock Declines Hit Every Sector Except Energy -- WSJ

While the S&P 500's decline on reports of escalation in the Middle East has been relatively modest, the selling is broad-based.
Every sector except for energy was trading lower on Monday afternoon after Brent crude, the international oil benchmark, rose almost 6% to around $114 a barrel. Materials, which includes many companies where oil is a key input cost, fared worst, dropping more than 1.5%.
