Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) plans to grow its wealth management team in the Gulf even as war in the region rages on, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing Raymond Ang, the bank's global head of private and affluent banking.

Ang said the bank plans to hire more relationship managers to manage clients in Dubai and may also expand its presence in Abu Dhabi, Reuters reported.
