General Motors (GM) plans to cut hundreds of jobs in its information technology department in an effort to reduce costs, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The cuts will impact around 500 to 600 workers, the people reportedly told Bloomberg. Management started notifying affected workers on Monday morning, the report said, citing the people.
General Motors didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
