Scotiabank to Offer Wealth-Management Services to State Bank of India's High-Net-Worth Clients in Canada

Bank of Nova Scotia's wealth-management arm will offer services to high-net-worth clients of State Bank of India's business in Canada.

Scotia Wealth Management and SBI Canada Bank agreed a referral-relationship arrangement, which will allow both companies to extend their coverage for clients locally in Canada.

Scotia Wealth Management will offer advisory and investment-management services through its Scotia Jarislowsky Fraser and ScotiaMcLeod businesses, as well as private-banking services through Scotiabank's private-banking group.

The Indian bank currently offers full-service retail, commercial and corporate banking services to clients in Canada.
