Oracle (ORCL) said Tuesday that Samsung Electronics will adopt its Oracle Java SE Universal Subscription to standardize global software development.
With Oracle Java, Samsung can streamline licensing and IT operations, address compliance risk, and bolster security, Oracle said.
Samsung engineers will be able to access the latest security patches through Oracle Java and receive technical support from Oracle, according to a statement.
