Ambiq Micro Q1 Non-GAAP Net Loss Narrows, Net Sales Rise; Issues Q2 Guidance

Ambiq Micro (AMBQ) reported Tuesday a Q1 non-GAAP net loss of $0.25 per diluted share, narrowing from a loss of $11.94 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected a loss of $0.36.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $25.1 million, up from $15.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $21.5 million.

The company expects a Q2 non-GAAP net loss of $0.29 to $0.23 per share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect a loss of $0.42. Net sales for Q2 are projected at $31 million to $32 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $25.7 million.

Shares of the company were up over 10% in Tuesday premarket activity.
