China Power International Unit Secures 79 Million Yuan Dedusting Contract

China Power International Development's (HKG:2380) unit SPIC Yuanda Environmental Protection Engineering secured a contract worth 79.3 million yuan for the Baicheng coal-fired power project in Jilin province, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the electric firm gained over 1% in morning trade on Tuesday.

The unit will supply electrostatic precipitator-based dedusting equipment and related services for the 1,320-megawatt project.

The contract includes equipment design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and warranty services.
