JinkoSolar (JKS) has signed an agreement to supply two gigawatts of Tiger Neo solar modules for Masdar's renewable energy project in Abu Dhabi, JinkoSolar said Tuesday.
The project, jointly developed by Masdar and Emirates Water and Electricity Company, combines a 5.2 gigawatt solar photovoltaic plant with a 19 gigawatt-hour battery energy storage system, the company said.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Shares of JinkoSolar were down 3.9% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
