Orix's Full-Year Net Income Surges 27%

Orix's (TYO:8591) net income attributable to owners of the parent jumped 27% to 447.3 billion yen in the fiscal year ended March 31 from 351.6 billion yen a year earlier.

The financial services company's earnings per share increased to 399.40 yen from 307.16 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Total revenues increased by 16% to 3.331 trillion yen from 2.875 trillion yen in the prior year.

Orix declared a final dividend of 62.34 yen, payable from June 3.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable net income of 530 billion yen.

Orix plans to pay annual dividends of 187.36 yen, which is higher than the amount paid in the year-ago period.
