Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Iran war wasn't over and didn't rule out extracting Iran's nuclear material by force in an interview set to air Sunday evening on CBS's "60 Minutes."
"I think it accomplished a great deal. But it's not over because there's still nuclear material, enriched uranium, that has to be taken out of Iran," he said.
When asked if the material would be removed by force, Netanyahu said, "You're going to ask me these questions. I'm going to dodge them because I'm not going to talk about our military possibilities, plans or anything of the kind."
Iran's highly enriched uranium would need to be extracted from nuclear sites struck by the U.S. and Israel, and officials would have to decide where to send the material if it were. "If you have an agreement, you go in and you take it out," Netanyahu said. "I'm not going to give a timetable to it, but I'm going to say that's a terrifically important mission."
