Advanced Energy Minerals (ASX:AEM) is set to undertake a collaborative project with NeoCtech Corp to scale up and pilot the production of nano high-purity alumina (HPA) doped with rare earth elements recycled from end-of-life products, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The project is supported by a CA$800,000 grant from NGen, a Canadian government-funded technology accelerator, the filing added.

The company said the technology has the potential to unlock new high-value opportunities across rapidly growing strategic industries, including artificial intelligence, robotics, electric vehicles, defense, aerospace, advanced optics, and clean technologies, it added.
