Jonco Industries recalled certain white cheddar seasoning products including a Williams Sonoma-branded Popcorn Sampler Gift Box, joining several companies that took similar measures due to a California Dairies milk-powder recall.
Jonco said it was notified by seasoning supplier JCB Flavors of a potential salmonella concern associated with an ingredient supplied by California Dairies.
JCB issued its own recall notice for a sour cream and onion popcorn seasoning product.
Jonco and JCB said no related illnesses have been reported.
Legacy Snack Solutions recalled certain batches of Giant Eagle Baked Pita Chips With Parmesan, Garlic & Herb and said no illnesses have been reported.
Visalia, Calif.-based California Dairies has $4 billion in annual product sales, according to its website.
Other companies that have issued recalls after the cooperative's recall include John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Ghirardelli Chocolate and Utz Brands-unit Utz Quality Foods. A related health alert from the Agriculture Department's Food Safety and Inspection Service lists items including chicken bacon ranch pizza sold under Walmart's Great Value brand.
