Hirose Electric's Profit Edges Up 0.3% in Fiscal Year 2026

Hirose Electric's (TYO:6806) profit attributable to owners of the parent edged up 0.3% to 33.14 billion yen for the fiscal year 2026 from 33.03 billion yen a year earlier.

Shares of the company were up nearly 3% in morning trade Tuesday.

The electrical connector supplier's earnings per share increased to 991.91 yen from 976.33 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Revenue climbed 12% to 211.26 billion yen for the year ended March 31 from 189.42 billion yen in the prior year.

Hirose Electric declared a final dividend of 260 yen per share, payable from June 26.

For the fiscal year 2027, the company expects an attributable profit of 34.00 billion yen, basic EPS of 1,039.08 yen, and revenue of 230.00 billion yen.

Hirose Electric plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 260 yen per share, each, for the year.
