SoftBank's Net Income Edges Up 4.7% in Fiscal Year 2025

SoftBank's (TYO:9434) net income attributable to owners of the parent rose 4.7% to 550.8 billion yen for the fiscal year 2025 from 526.1 billion yen a year earlier.

The internet services company's earnings per share increased to 11.27 yen from 10.84 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Revenue climbed 7.6% to 7.039 trillion yen in the year ended March 31 from 6.544 trillion yen in the prior year.

It declared a final dividend of 4.30 yen per share, payable from June 2.

For the fiscal year 2026, the company expects attributable profit of 560 billion yen, basic EPS of 11.54 yen, and revenue of 7.5 trillion yen.

SoftBank plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 4.40 yen per share for the year, which is higher than the amount paid in the year-ago period.
