Consolidated Edison Launching $2 Billion At-The-Market Equity Offering Program

Consolidated Edison (ED) said Friday it is launching $2 billion at-the-market equity offering program under which it may sell its common shares.

The company said it plans to use any proceeds from the program to invest in its subsidiaries for funding of their capital requirements and for other general corporate purposes.

In addition, Con Edison said it may enter into one or more separate forward sale agreements.
