Daiichi Sankyo's Attributable Profit Falls 12% in Fiscal Year 2025

Daiichi Sankyo's (TYO:4568) profit attributable to owners of the parent fell 12% to 259.87 billion yen for fiscal year 2025 from 295.76 billion yen a year earlier.

The pharmaceutical company's earnings per share declined to 140.37 yen from 155.87 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Revenue rose 13% to 2.123 trillion yen for the year ended March 31 from 1.886 trillion yen in the prior year.

A final dividend of 39 yen per share is payable from June 23. The company paid 30 yen in the year-ago period.

For fiscal year 2026, the company expects attributable profit of 260 billion yen, basic EPS of 142.88 yen, and revenue of 2.280 trillion yen.

Daiichi Sankyo also plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 50 yen per share, each, for the year ending March 2027, which is higher than the 78 yen it paid in the year-ago period.
