Image credit: Luxeed)\nLuxeed, a new brand jointly created by Huawei and Chery (HKEX: 9973), officially launched the V9 multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) on Friday, marking the first MPV model under Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA).\nThe Luxeed V9 starts at 389,800 yuan ($57,290), a pricing strategy aimed at capturing a share of the luxury commercial vehicle market dominated by General Motors and BYD in China. The first batch of vehicles is expected to be delivered in early June.\nThe Luxeed V9 is available in four trims — Max, Max+, Ultra, and Ultra+ — all of which are extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs).
