Apple (AAPL) is planning to make its camera app fully customizable as part of its broader user interface changes for its next iPhone software update, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The updated camera app will allow users to choose which features, like controls for flash, exposure, the timer and resolution, appear in the app and where they will be placed, the sources reportedly said.

The next major iPhone software update will also include design changes for the Siri digital assistant, and apps like Safari, the report said, adding that Apple is also mulling systemwide changes, such as new animations and redesigned tab bars.

Apple did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
