PBF Energy said its 197,000 b/d Chalmette, La., refinery has started repairs to an unspecified operating unit damaged by a fire as the facility is operating at previously planned dates producing gasoline, diesel and other refined products, a company spokesman said.

Unit repairs began on Monday, he said in an email statement Wednesday.

In addition, the St. Bernard Renewables production plant located at the Chalmette refinery wasn't involved in the fire Friday and it continues to produce renewable diesel at planned rates, the spokesman said.
