Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is scheduled to report fourth-quarter results on Friday. Here's what you need to know:

NET PROFIT FORECAST: Mitsubishi UFJ's net profit is expected to have more than tripled to 434.9 billion yen, equivalent to $2.75 billion, for the three months ended March, according to a poll of analysts by Visible Alpha. The financial company reported net profit of Y114.01 billion in the year-earlier period.

The stock has risen 15% so far this year through Thursday, following a 35% gain in 2025.

WHAT TO WATCH:

--In addition to results for the year ended March, Mitsubishi UFJ is expected to offer guidance for the fiscal year that began in April. Investors will be focusing on any profit target management may offer as well as any discussions on the potential impact from the Middle East conflict.

--Nine-month net interest income--the difference between interest earned on loans and that paid on deposits--increased 0.9% to Y2.193 trillion as domestic lending spreads widened. Investors will be closely watching for signs of further growth in the company's primary source of earnings.

--The company booked total credit costs of Y219.79 billion for the nine months ended December, down from Y251.00 billion the prior year. Investors will be paying attention to credit charges as the Iran war and U.S. tariffs have raised economic uncertainty.
