Ouster Gains on Lidar Sensors Compatible With Nvidia Drive Hyperion Platform

Shares of Ouster climbed after the lidar-technology company said its new digital lidar sensors can run on the Nvidia Drive Hyperion platform, an autonomous-driving reference platform.

Ouster stock rose 26%, to $34.26, Wednesday afternoon and is up 58% year to date.

The San Francisco company said its Rev8 OS family of digital lidar sensors can run on the Drive Hyperion platform, which is designed to accelerate deployment of level 4 autonomous vehicles.

The company's Rev8 OS sensors deliver data to help train models for autonomous driving.
