CRH's chief financial officer, Nancy Buese, is leaving the building-materials supplier after a year on the job.

CRH on Wednesday said Buese, who joined as finance chief last May, has stepped down from the post by mutual agreement, and the Dublin-based company said it named 14-year veteran Aylwyn Bryan as its new chief financial officer.

CRH said Buese's departure isn't due to any disagreement related to its accounting practices, financial statements, financial guidance, internal controls or operations, adding that she will stay on for three months to assist with the transition.

Bryan most recently he served as finance chief of CRH's Americas division.
