LanzaTech Global Shares Fall in Premarket on $20M Offering

Shares of LanzaTech Global's were sharply lower in premarket trading Friday after the company said it intends to raise $20 million by way of a direct offering.

Shares fell 25% ahead of the morning bell to $12.92.

The carbon management company said that it has entered into a securities purchase agreement to sell 2 million of its common shares to certain institutional investors.

The stock has been performing well in 2026, up about 25% since the year began, but it is still down 34% over the last 52 weeks.

LanzaTech said it plans to use the new funds for general corporate purposes.
