WeRide (HKG:0800) posted a loss attributable to ordinary shareholders of 389.1 million yuan for the first quarter, widening from a loss of 385.1 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the autonomous driving technology firm were down nearly 4% in Thursday morning trade.
Loss per share came in at 0.38 yuan from 0.46 yuan a year earlier.
Revenue increased 58% to 114.1 million yuan from 72.4 million yuan in the prior-year period.
