MT Newswires Live05-15

Rio Tinto (RIO) and Itafos amended their sulfuric acid supply contract to change pricing and supply terms through 2029, Itafos said Thursday evening.

Under the amended agreement, Itafos said it will continue purchasing sulfuric acid from Rio Tinto's Kennecott mine in Utah.

The companies also changed the reference index price from the Vancouver Index to the Tampa Index through Dec. 31, 2029, Itafos said.

The amended contract also includes changes to delivered volumes intended to provide greater flexibility for incremental supply, subject to availability, Itafos said.
