Mizuho Financial Group (MFG) reported fiscal 2025 earnings Friday of 502.92 Japanese yen ($3.17) per diluted share, up from 350.20 yen a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected 485.75 yen.
Ordinary income for the year ended March 31 was 9.085 trillion yen, up from 9.030 trillion yen a year earlier.
For fiscal 2026, the company expects EPS of 533.10 yen. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect 545.99 yen.
Mizuho shares were down 1.8% in premarket activity.
